Our Story

Misia Mae - design driven, modern vintage jewellery.

Misia Mae is a London based independent jewellery brand set up by Ewelina Rowntree. It was launched in April 2017 with Graphic No 1 collection, which received a warm welcome by customers and was noticed by the British Vogue, Tatler, Your Coffee Break, and House of Coco.

Inspired by my love of modern vintage, Misia Mae's classic, yet contemporary look is at the heart of all designs. I like playing with contrasts and unusual materials, exploring tradition for a modern proposition.

I wanted to create a brand that would offer jewellery, which is fun and elegant for women of all ages, which makes women feel pretty and fabulous, jewellery for extraordinary women, for you.

I design my jewellery myself and have the pieces made by carefully selected passionate jewellery craftsmen, boutique manufacturers, often family run workshops. Quality and access to the best technology in jewellery making, like PVD gold coating, high quality gold vermeil plating or rhodium plating, is very important for me to make sure I can offer the best quality and versatility to my customers.
